Community Services

Is the Licensing body for our centre. Since 2007 all Out of School Hours Care services (OSHC) are now required to be registered with Community Services. You can find the National Standards for Outside School Hours Care document here. The site also provides practical advice-based information for people interested in child protection, foster care, adoption and parenting.

MyChild

The mychild.gov.au website provides information on different types of child care and how to access assistance with the cost of child care.

Raising Children Network

The Raising Children Network is a government service which provides a range of information and resources for parents caring for children, from newborns to school age children of 8 yrs old. It provides great information about behaviour, nutrition, sleep, activities, play, learning, health and safety.

Asthma Foundation

The Asthma Foundation provides up to date information on asthma, including what to do in an asthma emergency, asthma triggers, how to use asthma inhalers and many great factsheets.

Cancer Council

The Cancer Council's website is full of excellent information on all types of cancer, support, and factsheets including Sunsmart Facts for parents. It also has a special section for school age children.

Autism Spectrum

Autism Spectrum Australia is the leading provider of autism specific services in Australia. Autism Spectrum Australia's website is filled with fantastic information about Autism with fact sheets, brochures, support information, forums and workshops.

“Network” is the recognised leader in the field of School Age Care, and the largest membership organisation in Australia dedicated to the advocacy, promotion, resourcing and development of play, recreation and leisure activities for 5-14 year olds. Network is one of the oldest not-for-profit peak bodies in the Australian Children’s Services sector and was established in 1974 to support the development of programs for children within their local community.

ACECQA The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority

ACECQA is an independent statutory authority. They provide national leadership in promoting quality and continuous improvement in early childhood education and care and School Age Care in Australia.
